de fotograaf plaatst de camera
met standaard lens en cassette
op het statief diafragma instellend
brengt ze ons bewustzijn in het nu
 
het licht de blik de houding
door te vertragen zien we
ons denken pijn angst
onzekerheid uitputting trots
 
soms vallen de puzzelstukjes voor even
samen vertellen het verhaal van de
stille waarnemer in ons die getuige is
van het zorgvuldig geregisseerde toeval
 
het glasheldere negatief reflecteert
de ziel van de fotograaf

sometimes the pieces fall together

for a moment telling the story of the
silent observer in us witnessing
the carefully orchestrated chance
 
the crystal-clear negative reflects
the soul of the photographer
