verplaatst me via de houten aanwijsstok
van aap noot mies
naar damesschoen maan kaars en zoldering
de geheime leerling en de onschuldige fee
toveren de halve maan vol
zodra de woorddragers tot leven komen
vervliegen de letters
de boot op zee blijkt de zee zelf
het blad is pars pro toto voor de boom
de vogel vormt de lucht
de schoen weet zich de voet
de beelden vallen door de woorden doen de beelden uiteenvallen
on-zinnetjes doen me met een mond vol woorden staan

blackboard and white chalk, cats and mats
leads me through the monkey’s wooden pointer
to women’s shoes candle and attic
the secret apprentice and the innocent fairy
transform the crescent moon full like a golden apricot
once the word bearers come to life
the letters evaporate a complete stranger stars at me
the shoe is one with the foot, the boat appears the sea itself
the bird is the air, the leave is synecdoche for the tree
new bottles increasingly delay the time
an unknown gunman stops her forever
to kill the images the words collapse into images
leaving me with a mouth full of words
